Complimentary Engagement Session – Edmonton Wedding Photographer

If you have booked an wedding package with me you will notice that all of my packages include a complimentary engagement session. For instance, my Gold Package comes with an engagement session and 30 images. It’s a really great deal. You get your session fee taken care of and your first 30 images at your reveal! #winning

Beyond giving you a deal, offering engagement sessions with my packages makes photographing your wedding day immensely easier.

  1. It gives us a chance to get to know one another

I like knowing what makes my clients tick, so to speak. It enhances our relationship which is important as I need you to trust me, especially on your wedding day. I like knowing that my clients are avid Dr. Who fans or that they met in Paris as it gives me insider information as to what you like so I can base your photoshoot around it. I like my clients to know that my favourite food group is coffee. I like my clients to know that I am passionate and will do whatever it takes to get THE photo.

  1. You learn my language

Which saves me time on your wedding day. At your engagement session you will learn what I am looking for when I say, “stroke her hair”, “put your hand on her lower back”, “give him a hug” etc.

  1. I learn what you like / don’t like

Are you not really into PDA? How would I know that on your wedding day unless I photographed you before, like for an engagement session!

  1. Your reveal session shows me what types of photos you want

I love reveal sessions for a variety of reasons but one of them is watching you pick your favourite photos! They are usually different than my favourites which is a source of endless fascination for me. But ok, you end up choosing a lot of landscape photos as your favourites, then I know on your wedding day to get some extras of those for you.

So there you have it folks, but as if you really needed a reason to enjoy complimentary photography!
