I read somewhere that it is a bad business move for a photographer to post too many photos of one session. I thought that was true. Until I saw this session, and then I said, “screw that!” (Actually it was said with some expletives but we won’t post that here…)
So the rebel I am is posting a lot of this session with these two wonderful people and I don’t care one bit. I approached this session with an image in my head of how I wanted them to turn out. I wanted passion, spark, energy, movement, and love. Lots and lots of love. So we drove out to a little field close to Devon, Alberta and this is where the magic happened. And by magic, I mean two gorgeous people who love each other fiercely and my husband’s wind making skills. Yes, you read that right. My husband’s new skill is making wind so that hair and skirts blow in my photos. Seriously, that man is amazeballs. He even at one point, McGivered a whole set up which included a magazine, duct tape, and a windshield scraper… I should have taken a pic – it was rather funny!
Update: Found the pic!
I read this poem by Sanober Khan and it spoke so truly to me about these two and this beautiful art we created so I wanted to share it with y’all.
this is how

Isn’t that beautiful? It is like sexy sexy time in word form. I, like, can’t even.
Thank you Kalene and Jordan for giving me your trust and allowing me to create these beautiful photographs! Mucho gracias, amigos!
